Ayam Masak Halia

owh, ni belum buat lagi..
cuma baru dapat resepi from a colleague yans share same interest: cooking!

bahan-bahan yang perlu ada:
soy sauce
oyster sauce
light soy sauce
sesame seed oil
marinate kan bahan2 ni dengan ayam yang dipotong kecik dalam 30 minutes

halia muda banyak2 pun takpe sebab tak berapa pedas hiris halus
sangaikan kejap put aside

bawang putih ketuk kan
tumis dengan sesame oil sikit...
pastu masukkan ayam tadi
buh air dalam setengah cawan tuk simmer (reneh le)

dah almost done, buh halia yang dah disangai tadi
potong2kan daun bawang buh dalam tu

voila! terus rasa nak try buat malam ni..tapi bahan tak cukup pulak...
weekend la..

nantikan gambarnya kalau jadi
n nak try pakai pemanggang ajaib tu le!

Ayam Masak Kicap Black Pepper


oh, mind the pic, i tader dslr so main amik je gambar dalam gelap

ni satu lagi resepi ringkas mudah dan pantas untuk membuatnya
dengan syarat
ada kuali pemanggang ajaib tu

imagine semalam posa (ganti daaa)
balik dari opis pkl 6 sampai umah dalam 7.05
hmm... pikir2 nak masak apa
yang dah sedia terhidang:
tongkol singgang dengan sambal sotong kembang

kena tambah lagi ni bebudak takder lauk...
seb baik mak dah siap2 kuarkan ayam...
tanpa berpikir panjang, masak ayam la
tapi buka dulu dah nak masuk waktu.. telan je la yang mana ada...

lepas buka ard 745 tu...terus cincang ayam jadik ketul2 2 inci tu
pastu tumbukkan halia + bawang puting dengan kunyit hidup + garam sikit
lumurkan kat ayam
pastu buh dalam pan pemanggang tu... buh setengah cawan air...
kupas kentang potong 4 masukkan sekali dalam pan
tutup... biar 5 minit...
curahkan kicap (i guna kicap Jalen warna merah - manis ni) dalam setengah cawan
 biarkan 2 minit..buh air asam jawa setengah cawan...
kupas bawang besar hiris ikut suka buh dalam tu gak... buh black peppercorn dalam setengah sudu teh
biar reneh dalam pan 2-3 minit..
voila! kejap je dah masak... takyah nak susah2...dah jadik lauk kanak2..

untuk bapak budak, goreng ikan masin sepat, cilikan je..
p/s: sempat lagi kukus kek pisang kat tungku yg satu lagi.. hehehhe.... tgk le kat bawah tu...

cepat kan... leh buat 2 lauk dgn kek lagi lepas buka, tgh reneh pegi solat jap.. tader hal..!

cuma saat yang paling best, bila nak suapkan si 2 toddlers tu, yang paling teruja si littlest Emir la... hah yg ni mmg kuat makan... masak apa pun dia dulu ke depan bila dah ready! and dah pandai puji apa yg mama masak: DAP! (his version of utterly SEDAP...!) tenkiu emir..!

Anything to be Panned

It's been quite a while since the last time I've posted about Pari Bakar Asam using the magical world of farah (perasan ok!) PAN itu.. hehehhe... It's not that I have not using it since, I have been using it but to be fair, I am just plain lazy and tired to post anything until today, I realised one of my BFF asking about it as she has also bought the same pan recently! hihihihi.... laku kan Sar pan ajaib ni..!

truthfully, I use this pan merely for anything and everything... be it fish, be it chicken, pancakes and even EGG! Guess what, I have just made a good omelette using this pan! Sorry Sar, gambar tak amik sebab tak teringat nak post...

simply whisk 3-4 eggs and add some salt +pepper... put some cut vege (lada bengala traffic light tu pun cantik) to add on the colour on the omelette.... pann it upside down. The best is you do not need oil to fry! selamat kolestrol ku! hihihihi...

Anything Banana, Anything Oats

I love banana... and I have to fall in love with oats, too, recently due to a strong killing reason : cholestrol! I know one day I sure gotta try new thing with these two.

I have tried having breakfast with plain oats and sliced banana (plus raisins) superb!

I always have forgotten to bring the oats to office (plus it is not that fantastically inviting without banana).

Before we made the trip back to Johore last weekend, I have mashed some ripen bananas and left them in the fridge. When we arrived home, it was almost midnight, hence, the bananas were still left untouched.

Yesterday, after work, and actually fetched other half home, I took it out and immediately put in some (1/2 teaspoon of soda bicarbonate) and stirred them well. I left it there till I finished my 2 main dishes: Gulai Lemak Cili Api Ikan Tongkol & Sambal Kentang + Bilis.

Slightly after 9pm, I whisked 5 eggs and 1 cup of sugar in a mixing bowl
I put in a teaspoonful of cinnamon powder and a teaspoonful of vanilla essence
Whisk them well

Put in 3/4 condensed milk + 1 1/2 cup warm water
and the mashed banana into the mixing bowl
Whisk again, well

I sifted 2 cups of flour + 1 teaspoonful baking powder + 1/2 spoonful soda bicarbonate in the mixing bowl. 
I put in around 2 1/2 cups of OATS into the bowl
The reasons I put the oats are: Less Guilty feeling and definitely not guilty of leaving the oats untouched for months! LOL....
Whisk all the ingredient well

Lastly, put in 3/4 cup oil into the batter
whisk well
Steam the cake

Tadaaaa..... I brought some to the office
They love it

Or maybe it is true:
Makanan percuma memang sedap..... *wink!*

Pari Bakar Kuah Asam


Owh, yang ini adalah among other half feveret (tak tau pun sebab tak penah buat..) ceritanya begini.. i bought pemanggang ikan ajaib tu weeks ago... he came back seeing me cooking with the new tools and remarked: "hmm....barang murah ni mesti tak tahan lama..." ku yang tak hingin nak menghangatkan keadaan diam je sambil memasak ayam BBQ utk anak2...

last saturday, dah siap masak gulai ikan tongkol... ku bakar (or better goreng tanpa minyak) ikan kembung 5 ekor kat kuali ni...he asked me, masak apa sebab thinking i dah siap memasak (mesti tak sabar nak mengemop lantai kan..!) i replied: goreng kembung jap... seriously within minutes i dah angkat ikan kembung tu... dia tanya: kejap benor, masak ke tu.. masak laa...i jawab... mmg pun dah masak isi dalam tu.... senang kan..

tup2 dia tgk kondisi ikan tu cam segar dan tak melekat bagai....his reply: ni kalau dapat pari panggang sedap ni... betul2 sunday morning dia pi pasar cokit seorang diri ( kami tak ikut sebab Adha demam...sian anak mama...) dia balik bawak 3 ekor pari among other ikan la kan... sambil dia menyiang ikan, dia tanya:"mama nak masakikan apa hari ni..?" i jawab dengan another question:"ayah nak makan apa...? bukan nak makan pari bakar ke...?"... terus ku ketepikan sekor setengah ikan pari... ku marinatekan dengan sambal belacan yg mmg dah tersedia dalam peti sejuk tu....tambah dgn limau kasturi...dah perah potong lagi....(sambil menaip ni pun dah merembes air liur ku..hahah!)

dah ku bakar.... ada lagi permintaan... kalau ada daun pisang denga kuah asam lagi sedap ni mama... aduyaiiiii......cerewet sungguh! lepas hantar adha (kuah asam dah ku siapkan sebelum hantar adha lagi...) amik daun pisang kat umah mak... balik panggang sekali lagi dengan daun pisang....viola! rupanya daun pisan gtu mmg mewangikan pari tu tadi..... dgn asap2 tu keluar dari pemanggang, incik other half amik pinggan dan mengadap tv dgn pari bakar kuah asam tu... berbaloi beli pemanggang ini weh..!

Ban-Apple Steam Cake

Apple yg other half bawak banyak lagi..dah buat refreshing Apple+Grape Smoothie pun..nyums! ada lagi balance apple hijau ni... tiba2 teringin nak buat something with apple, nak crumble kan karang jadik ke idak apple crumble ku nanti... next try la.. tapi since kat umah takde ramai orang yang bising2, hence dengantenang hati ku kupas apple tu potong kecik... panaskan gula dalam 4 sudu kat kuali... lepas gula tu caramelised, buh apple potong tu...gaul sebati, buh serbuk kayu manis dalam sesudu kecik.... gaul sebati...then, buh oats dalam 4 sudu.... gaul bagi rata...matikan api..buh apple dalam mangkuk biarkan sejuk...


ada pulak banana... hmm... dah  mash...dah buat cekodok...(tak banyak sebab tak ramai kat umah - kakak n angah balik Johor, Uwan balik Gombak...Adha pun bakal balik Gomabk malam ni...) separuh mashed banana tu ku bubuh soda bikarbonat setengah sudu teh....amik telur  5biji whisk dengan secawan gula.... buh esen vanila sikit...buh susu pekat setengah cawan...buh air suam secawan...masukkan apple tadi...gaul sebati, masukkan banana tadi....gaul sebati... buh 2 cawan tepung gandum+baking powder+soda bikarbonat yang telah diayak.... gaul sumer sebati...lastly,masukkan secawan minyak masak...
kukuskan... hasilnya ye teman2....something new i guess...
