Aduyai...mama dah out of idea nak masak apa.. semalam rasa nak goreng ikan keli, lauk last tinggal cuma few lat pieces of sup ayam.. nak buat ikan keli goren bercili... pastu MIL tak makan ikan keli.. hmm...buatkan gulai kacang panjang...mak, takde rpulak udang nak jadi rencah, MIL kata pakai je ikan bilis... pun boleh... pastu lauk kanak2 apa pulak yek.. telur rebus sambal ke..? eh, ikan keli dah sambal...ayam halia ke..? eh sup ayam ada sikit lagi...telur kicap ke..? ish... mesti tak habis... pikir2 jenuh2... hmm try la telur goreng bistik.. hihihi... papndai je nak godeh menu
lepas solat maghrib terus masuk dapur, goreng telur dulu setengah dozen..put aside sambil basuh ikan n garam kunyitkan ikan keli tu... sambil tu renehkan gulai lemak kacang panjang.. lam agak nak menyettle sampai other half balik kena hujan ard 815 masih lum dibistikkan lagi telur goreng tu... he took one piece telor goreng tu makan dgn sos.. eh yah nanti la dulu mama siapkan masak..takper, ayah nak makan panadol..
amik bawang putih 4 ulas, sebiji bawang besar..ketuk sikit bawang putih, terus tumis dalam minyak sikit kat kuali tu... hiris bawang besar, masuk dalam kuali gak... agak2 dah naik bau, masukkan sayur campur tu (kacang pea + jagung + carrot tu hah yg frozen tu...!) dalam 3-4 sudu.... gaul sebati..masukkan garam sikit...pastu buh sos tiram dgn sos plum... masukkan air dalam setengah cawan... masukkan la telur goreng tadi.... renehkan sampai didih... walla!! boleh dihidang makan dgn nasik panas....

Asam Pedas Untuk Chef...
gelak dulu sebelum post this one..
Sebabnya, other half tak pernah puji my cookings ye..mind you tapi I tak heran la sebab walau tak puji tapi dia makan banyak...tambah2...
Anyway, other half is now operating canteens at factory..not to be named, anyway..for security reason (la sangat!).. what i want to brag (gelak lagi...!) was about 2-3 months ago he invited his friends who are doing the same thing as his - including an exec chef, to have lunch at our place before off to rawang for some business deal..
i remember cooking them pulut + kuah serawa durian, kepala ikan asam pedas + nasi etc... yg bestnya, lepas makan, chef tu puji, sedap ni..boleh bukak kedai macam ni, leh jual... i terima kasihkan ajer.. sambil kembang2 la punggung.. hihihi.. exec chef la puji masakan mama marhaen ni.. hihihi..
when they already open this business, the second week, other half came home with a request: "Mama, nanti mama tuliskan resepi asam pedas mama ye..." i replied: "sapa nak Yah?" "chef tu nak...dia kata asam pedas dia lain...." (dalam hati I mesti chef tu kata asam pedas mama ni sedap,tak macam dia punya...tapi sampai kat mulut other half, jangan harap le kan nak keluarkan ayat tu...!" tapi i peduli apa..terus je i replied:"mesti asam pedas mama sedap kan....!! exec chef pun mintak resepi ni..." diam je other half malas nak layan i brag... hahahahha....
anyway, to other half n partners, moga keputusan yang diambil untuk meninggalkan syubhah ni akan memberikan seribu ganda kelebihan..amin!

Charcoal Cake
dey... kek kukus arang... wuish... mana nak carik arang weh.. hahha.. actually rupa kek tu mmg macam arang tpai the taste is wonderfulicious...! ni bukan i yang cakap ye ni my frens yang datang umah for our potluck which was held early feb aritu kata.... one of them said this: eh, farah rupa kek ko ni mmg tak memberangsangkan tapi rasa dia masyaAllah...not bad! owh, ramai yang tapau bawak balik...few weeks after, one of my friends called up for the recipe sebab anak2 dia suka giler kek arangku..
anyway, enough of the braggings, recipe for the Steamed Charcoal Cake as follows:
5 biji telur + secawan gula..pastu whisk kan je....buh sikit esen vanila, takmau bau hanyir nanti, on the other side of table, sift 2 cawan tepung gandum biasa +1 cawan serbuk koko (i used dark chocolate powder ada kat kedai kek usually)+sesudu kecik baking powder+setengah sudu kecik soda bikarbonat.. masukkan campuran yg dah diayak ni ke dalam bowl telur gula tadi.. pastu buh 3/4 cawan susu pekat, 1 cawan air suam, 3/4 cawan minyak masak.... whisk kan sekali bagi adunan jadik rata... buh dalam bekas, steamkan.. i prefer steam sebab the cake will remain its moist... kalau nak bake pun buleh...try le...p/s: rupa mmg takder la (cam tuannya) tapi rasanya insyaAllah...meletops!
